Warner Bros. is finally releasing Batman Begins on Blu-ray Disc on July 8, just in time to cash in on the July 18th release of its sequel, The Dark Knight. It’s not like Warner Bros. needs any help getting this to sell as its one of the most requested and anticipated Blu-ray releases.
The film will be released in two versions. A single disc edition for $28.99 and a limited-edition gift set for $49.99 which includes a Batman Begins motion art lenticular, exclusive photos, script pages, storyboards, five postcards and $7.50 in movie cash toward… you guessed it… The Dark Knight. Both versions will also include an exclusive comic book prologue to The Dark Knight.
Oh and a friendly reminder letting you know that July 8th is also the release date for Batman: Gotham Knight, the animated collection of Batman shorts created by renowned writers and animators.
